One of the most quotable films of the 80’s, Die Hard made Bruce Willis a legitimate hero of action classics. Landing in a film with screenplay by action thriller aficionado, Jeb Stuart, he carved out a place for himself in the genre next to the likes of Sly Stallone and Harrison Ford. In Die Hard, Willis is NYPD Officer John McClane who tries to save hostages from German terrorist Hans Gruber (here played with brilliance by Alan Rickman). Many imitators (and sequels) have never come close to the taut thrills of the definitive holiday action classic. Or Bruce Willis in a vest.

Enjoy the experience at Eccleston Place Courtyard, our brand new Christmas venue, a hidden urban hideaway, which will be transformed for our winter film fest. It will be kitted out with a cosy, heated, weatherproof canopy, under which we’ll be nestling to watch our seasonal cinema gems, curled up in blankets on comfy chairs to keep toasty warm. We'll also be serving up piping hot festive meals, mince pies aplenty, mulled wine and hot chocolate - and we'll be toasting marshmallows as seasonal music drifts through the air...
