Vegas fratboy comedy with cameo from Mike Tyson? WAIT! Don’t turn away.
Here endorsed by Roger Ebert: “Now this is what I'm talkin' about. 'The Hangover' is a funny movie, flat out, all the way through.” It's truly laugh-a-minute gold from start to finish and makes no apologies for some down right ‘wrong’ gags - but that is part of the charm. A ‘bachelor party’ in Vegas has disaster written all over it, and boy, this one delivers carnage. Trying to piece together ‘last nights’ events are hapless leads (here played by Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis), who wake up with little to no memory of the night before - there’s a tiger in the bathroom, a baby in the kitchen and, to add insult to injury, a missing bachelor! The ensuing action is gripping and, most importantly, eye-wateringly hilarious.
