Inside Out (2015)
Do you ever look at someone and wonder, "What's going on in their head?
Pixar have done it again with their critically acclaimed emotional rollercoaster Inside Out, a film that not only makes you feel joy, fear, sadness, anger and disgust, but allows you to meet them.
Here, emotions come to life inside the head of pre-teen Riley, who struggles with the move to a new city whilst on the cusp of adolescence. Things become even more complex when a struggle between Joy (Amy Poehler) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith) means that they are forced to go on a journey through Riley’s mind in order to lead her through life. As with any Pixar film, this one’s not just for the kids, and provides a rich and moving portrait of what it’s like to go through - and to be - the variety of emotions we know all too well.
