Damien trained at the Guildford School of Acting and with
The National Youth Theatre. Professional roles include Romeo
in 'Romeo and Juliet' (Edinburgh) and 'Swell Party' (Drayton
Court). For the past eight years he has been an active member
of The Nomads for whom he was Artistic Director for two years.
Favourite roles include Bobby (Company), Alan Strang (Equus),
Randall P.McMurphy (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest), Captain
Hook (Peter Pan), The Narrator (Under Milk Wood) and Gerald
(An Inspector Calls). He has also directed 'Macbeth', 'The
Tempest', 'The Crucible', 'Aladdin' and 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.
In March of this year he played Sky Masterson for DDOS in
'Guys and Dolls', and came home to the Nomads a month later
playing a very supect schoolmaster in Stephen Fry's 'Latin'. In
June he starred as Bill Snibson in 'Me and My Girl' with Leatherhead
Operatic Society at The Thorndyke Theatre in Leatherhead. He
has been on the council as both Artistic Director and Vice Chairman
and was also responsible for organising the Nomads' first ever
productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, namely 'The Crucible'
in 2000 and 'Popcorn' in 2002. Damien works in Dorking for a
publishing house and counts his 3 year old daughter Isabelle
and Liverpool Football Club as the biggest loves in his life!  |
