Rakhi’s School of Performing Arts will accompany the Dhol2Dhol drummers with a freestyle traditional Bollywood dance.

In 2008, Danny Boyle's surprising smash hit touched millions around the world. Opening on Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, as he faces the last question on India's 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?', we ask: what has brought him here? We soon find out as police, who suspect him of cheating, interrogate Jamal and discover the events in his life that have given him the answers he needs to win - not only a fortune, but freedom for the woman he loves. It is not just the story, but the visuals that captivate in Slumdog Millionaire. Boyle's vision brings us the fast-paced, stylised, colourful yet dark spirit of Mumbai, brought beautifully together through Chris Dickens' Oscar-winning editing. Dickensian in story and Bollywood in soul, Slumdog has something for everyone.
