As the late, great Roger Ebert said:

"Superman is a pure delight, a wondrous combination of all the old-fashioned things we never really get tired of: adventure and romance, heroes and villains, earthshaking special effects, and - you know what else? Wit. 4/4"

So let’s go with some Super Trivia. Whilst Christopher Reeve went on to brilliantly own the role as Clark Kent / Superman, the role wasn’t always his: in fact it was first turned down by Robert Redford, Burt Reynolds, Sylvester Stallone and Paul Newman! Patrick Wayne was cast, but pulled out when his father John became unwell, and the likes of James Brolin, Christopher Walken, Nick Nolte, Jon Voight and Charles Bronson were also considered for the role... then over 200 unknown actors auditioned for the role before Reeve was eventually given the chance. The rest is history!

Tickets for this special screening include a glass of fizz on arrival.
