London’s legendary fighting venue in the heart of Bethnal Green provides the backdrop to our Nomad screening of Fight Club - call it a special Friday night support group, with a movie thrown in. Bring your issues, your suffering, your Ikea catalogue (to burn), your anger, your alter ego, your caged masculinity - and join us, as we unleash some big screen mayhem.

David Fincher was the perfect choice to translate the visceral, punk tone of the original novel by King of Transgressive Fiction, Chuck Palahniuk. Edward Norton, Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter are all on the money. Meatloaf’s appearance as an emotionally fragile, man-boobed curio is unforgettable. The pace, swagger and punch of Fight Club are utterly admirable.

Before the film, enjoy some close-up Tyler Durden wisdom, to remind you that you are not a beautiful, unique snowflake. Let us help you acquire some bruises and cuts to be proud of. And be ready for trouble - there’s bound to be trouble, just over your shoulder. Breathe deeply people; take in that reek - years of sweat, blood, tears, pain and fury steam out of every inch of this iconic building.
