LOVE IS IN THE AIR, along with plenty of glitter, as The Nomad presents a special screening of Strictly Ballroom on Sunday 3 April - which just happens to be Mothers’ Day, if you fancy bringing her along to shake her hips…

Ladies: slip into your thigh split oyster feather number, slap on the fake bake and pull on those fishnets and sparkly heels. Gents: buff up those cuban heels, unbutton that tight chiffon number to mid waxed chest level, spray on those high-waisted pants and clench everything!

It’s Strictly Ballroom as you’ve never seen it before, as we invite you to join us for a unique union of three showbiz worlds . The Nomad brings cinema, while those two kingpins of good old-fashioned, fixed-grin, chin-out, spot-lit, strike-a-pose stagecraft - circus and amateur ballroom dancing - provide the remaining tantalising elements of what promises to be a very special evening. Expect more twists and turns than your typical cinema screening; get ready to join in the spirit - and the steps - of Baz Luhrmann’s 1992 sequin-spangled dance sensation…
