THE MOVIE

Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) is a kooky socialite with a secret background who meets a writer with some secrets of his own… Maintaining a childlike innocence yet wearing the most perfect of designer clothes and accessories from Givenchy, she spends her time on expensive dates and at high-class parties. Holly escorts various wealthy men, yet always fails to return their affections once they have showered her with gifts and money. Woven into this heady romance is chic Hollywood comedy at its finest, combined with evocative cinematography – Tiffany scooped two Academy Awards in 1961 for Henry Mancini’s crooning classic Moon River, and of course, best actress for the delightful Ms Hepburn.

THE EVENT

Setting up our screen in the most secluded and welcoming venue in Hyde Park, Holly and Paul (and Cat) invite you to pull up a chair and settle in for a screening of one of the most iconic films ever made.

A glass of prosecco and a chocolate or two will heighten the romantic mood as you step into the underfloor-heated, treehouse-inspired LookOut in the heart of the Park, but don’t miss the intimate dance space in the Gatehouse, complete with atmospheric lighting and glitterball. Or the firepits, where you can toast marshmallowy treats for your loved one (or scoff them yourself, we won’t say a word).

Head inside to try your hand at creating a silhouette portrait of your partner, a traditional love token popular in the days before photography - or simply stock up on drinks and snacks before the film. If you’re feeling particularly in tune with your partner by this stage, take our quiz – there’ll be a prize for the winning couple!
