CLICK ON THE SHOW MAP BUTTON BELOW TO SEE THE SCREENING SITE NEXT TO THE BOWLING GREEN IN THE CENTRE OF THE PARK. If you’re coming from Battersea Park or Queenstown Road Rail stations, use the Rosary Gate in the southeast corner of the park - this is also the best entrance if you’re coming by car and want to park onsite. If you’re coming from Chelsea Bridge then please use Chelsea Gate in the northeast corner of the park. And if you’re coming from Albert Bridge, please use Albert Bridge in the northwest corner of the park. Those are your three options. Enjoy!
“Variety, hidden secrets and pure enjoyment” - that’s what it says here about Battersea Park and we feel the same way about Little Miss Sunshine, the 2006 Sundance Festival hit about one very dysfunctional family and their curious road trip cross country towards the mother of all beauty pageants. Pathos, wicked jokes and an ultimately uplifting experience come courtesy of an unbeatable comedy cast including Toni Collette, Alan Arkin, Greg Kinnear, Paul Dano, Abigail Breslin and Steve Carell. Oh, and the soundtrack’s a stonker as well.
The Nomad rolls into Battersea park for the first time this year and Little Miss Sunshine is the first of 3 screenings at one of London’s most impressive parks. We’ll be following up with classic noir The Third Man on 10 August and far-fetched 80s fantasy Labyrinth on 17 August. Bring a blanket or low chair to sit on, a picnic (but please, no glass at this venue) and maybe something warm to slip on when the sun goes down. See you there!
